Minimum Requirements:
-Well presentable and professional Afrikaans speaking male
-Fully bilingual in both Afrikaans and English (First & second languages A MUST)
-Diesel Mechanic Red Seal Qualification A MUST
-Minimum 10 years relevant diesel mechanic experience A MUST
-Experienced in Toyota and Hino’s
-Valid Code 14 driver’s license with PDP preferred
-Own reliable to transport to work (company vehicle provided during office hours)
-Able to manage fleet of 11 vehicles, 17 Dyna trucks, 18 Hino trucks and 12 trailers
-Willing and able to travel to breakdowns in emergencies (Gauteng, North West, Mpumalanga and Limpopo provinces)
-Residing near Wonderboom area
-Stable employment record
-Contactable references
Duties:
-Manage fleet of 11 vehicles, 17 Dyna trucks, 18 Hino trucks and 12 trailers
-Repair and maintain diesel engines on Toyota and Hino’s
-Diagnoses trouble, disassembles engines, and examines parts for defects and excessive wear.
-Travel to breakdowns and attend to roadside repairs
-Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests
-Keep equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules
-Verify vehicle performance by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.
-Perform minor and major repairs on trucks and vehicles
Salary: R 25 000.00 – R 28 000.00 gross (Depending on relevant experience)
