Electrical required for large company in Springs.
Qualified Electrician
The incumbent will be responsible for the electrical maintenance and repairing of all manufacturing and building equipment
Assemble, install, troubleshoot, maintain and test electrical and electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures.
Assist in identifying hazards and drive continuous improvement
Ensure compliance to building codes / regulations.
Repairing electro hydraulic equipment and machinery
Perform planned maintenance
Effective control of tools
Ensures adherence to the company’s SHEQ standards
Troubleshoot system problems and the repair of such work
Perform physical demanding tasks when doing electrical construction work
Willing to do call outs and attend to breakdowns as per operational requirements
Able to work from heights (ladders, scaffolds, roofs etc.)
Electrician
Educational requirements
Electrical Artisan qualification.
5 years minimum experience after being qualified
Basic PLC experience
Basic AC & DC drive experience
5 years related industry experience
Basic hydraulic and pneumatic experience.
Understand and be able to read electrical drawings
Must have single phase and three phase knowledge
HT switching experience will be an advantage
Wiremen’s license advantage
Electronic knowledge will be an advantage
