IT Field Technician Durban Area

**DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DONT HAVE A CAR AND EXISTING EXPERIENCE IN IT***

* Must be fluent in speaking and writing English

* Must be A+ and Network+
certified, CompTIA preferred 

* Have at least 3 years field service experience - PC/Notebook and network support to end users

*
Must have sound knowledge of router installation and support with at least 2 years' experience - CCNA or CCNET qualification
will be an advantage

Must have solid printer maintenance experience

*
Must have own reliable vehicle and cell phone

*
Willing to travel on a regular basis

*
Ability to think on your feet

* Willing to be on standby

Duties:

* Exceptional fault finding skills 

* Onsite support of IT equipment -
both hardware and software. 

*
Must have notebook repair experience - example: replacing mainboards and LCD panels

*
Installation and support of Routers - Ability to connect and do basic fault finding and configuration settings

*
Printer support and maintenance and fault finding skills

*
Adhoc network installations - solid knowledge of installing network points, network cabinets, crimping cables and tracing faults

Salary 

R12 000.00 - R15 000.00 depending on experience fuel reimbursements and standby will be paid separately
