Minimum Requirements:
-Presentable Afrikaans speaking male
-Afrikaans and English first & second languages
-Matric / Grade 12
-Minimum 2 years storeman / storekeeping experience preferably in Metal Industry or similar industry
-Computer literate in MS Office and Pastel Partner
-Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
-Stable employment record a must (no job hoppers, no unreasonable gaps in employment record)
-Contactable References
-To start as soon as possible
Work Hours:
Mondays to Thursdays from 07h30am – 16h30pm; Fridays from 07h30am – 13h30pm
Duties:
-Monitoring of stock levels and all rigging and lifting equipment
-Receiving of goods ordered
-Ensure all material/goods is received with the necessary documentation and is correct
-Ensure that Quality Control department checked material/goods
-Handle and store all goods received in a proper manner
-Process goods received on pastel
-Issue stock to production and process on pastel
-Issue tools and consumables
-Updating assets and tool register
-Maintain calibration and maintenance schedules for measuring equipment and devices as well as welding machines
-Maintain calibration certificates (hard and soft copy)
-Pressing of pre-form packing (when necessary)
Salary: ± R 12 500.00 gross (Reasonably negotiable, depending on relevant experience)
Provident Fund after completion of probation period
